IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAMMES

In-house training programmes are designed to meet the ever growing need of industry to comply with various statutory regulations such as the Factories Act, Environment (Protection) Act and other allied legislations.

Level of Participation:

Training programmes are conducted for various levels of employees such as Senior Managers, Middle Managers, Supervisors, Workers, etc.

Medium of Instruction & Methodology:

The medium of instruction for all the training programmes are in English. However, training programmes for workers can be conducted in either English or Hindi. The methodology used consist of Lectures, Group Discussions and Case Studies with extensive use of PowerPoint Presentation materials, Video Films, etc.

The Faculty:

The in-house training programmes are conducted by highly experienced faculty who are specialists in the field of safety, health, environment, fire protection and allied subjects.

Type of Training Programmes:

SHIB conducts two types of in-house training programmes viz. (i) Standard Training Programmes and (ii) Specialised Training Programmes.

Standard Training Programmes:

The Standard Training Programmes are designed to create general awareness amongst employees on safety standards, so that they can identify unsafe acts/unsafe conditions.

SHIB has already designed modules for a number of standard training programmes and have experienced faculties and infrastructure for conducting these in-house training programmes. The title of the programs, levels of participants and the duration of standard training programs are listed below :

Specialised Training Programmes:

The Specialized Training Programmes are designed to cater to the specific requirements of operators/workers/supervisors at the shop floor of an industry/plant, so that potential hazards could be identified and appropriate action taken.

SHIB has already designed modules for a number of specialized training programmes and have experienced faculties and infrastructure for conducting these in-house training programmes. The title of the programs, levels of participants and the duration of specialised training programs are listed below :

In addition to the above programs, SHIB can also design and conduct specialized training programes , for the needs of industry. The duration of these programs vary from one to five days, depending upon the requirements of the organisation.
