Safety and Health Information Bureau (SHIB) was conceived as a resource facility offering an integrated professional service to various occupancies in dealing with the problems relating to safety, health, environment and fire safety.

SHIB was established in 1989, in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Though, SHIB was established in Navi Mumbai, recently its office has been relocated to its own building at Alleppey, Kerala, with a view to widen its activities.

SHIB helps the organisations to develop their vision for the future and determine strategies to achieve better working conditions and environment and thereby increase the overall production and quality of working life.

Ever since its establishment, SHIB provides comprehensive services such as: Safety Audits, Safety Studies, Evaluation of Infrastructure; Training Programmes; Information DVDs; Publications, etc. in various occupancies PAN India.
